Reviews
Authentic Taiwanese flavors! However the sauce in the ‘black bean with pork and bean curd noodles’ is too salty for my taste. Fortunately the wide noodles have wonderfully chewy texture. We’ll definitely return to try out more options on the menu.
The interior of the restaurant is bright and clean. For the first visit, there’s a discount that can be applied to the same day bill, creating a very welcoming atmosphere
Honestly, I debated not writing a review because I don’t want this place to get too popular and make it difficult for me to visit!!!
The works: love the peanut sesame in this, makes for a wonderfully thick, rich, comforting “sauce.” I can see myself getting this every time, no wonder it’s a best seller
Beef and tendon noodle soup: tendon and beef were cooked so perfectly, completely melts in your mouth! Soup is a tiny bit sweet (if you don’t like that, you can ask for it without the suan cai) but I was drinking this straight by the spoonful.
We got wide noodles for both and the texture is chewy and bouncy 😍
Beef pancake roll: trust me on this, dip it in one of your soups.
Apps:
Pig ears: spicy and flavorful
Pickled Cucumber: refreshingly sweet and sour with big chunks of garlic
Bamboo shoots: I don’t even like bamboo shoots but this was INCREDIBLE!!!!
This place is one of my favorites. The food is always so tasty and I love that they offer different teas from rose tea to dirtea. The names are so cute. The times that I've been here there's never really a line so they take us pretty quick.
First time at this restaurant and everything was so good! Not pictured but equally delicious were the shaken milk teas. Fried chicken cutlet was on point and the beef pancake is a must have! My husband really enjoyed the sauce in the hand pulled noodle dish.
Food was served promptly and servers were great. We arrived a little after 6:30pm on a Saturday and it was full but only waited about 10-15 minutes for a table for 2. Can’t wait to come back and try more items!
The food was served promptly, which is always a plus. My craving for hand-pulled Taiwanese beef noodle soup was more than satisfied—the tender tendon and succulent beef were simply delightful.
A definite winner for noodle soup lovers!
Food was delicious. Our favorites are the wide noodles signature beef noodle, minced pork rice and scallion pancake. Also check out the new The Works (fat noodle, minced pork, peanut butter sauce, spicy red oil but not spicy) - super delicious!
Friendly service and very affordable pricing. Been here many many times and will be back soon!
Pretty solid noodles and Taiwanese classics. A bit pricey, but that's comparable to other places. They also have some nice pantry items like chili oils and teas.
The food here is always great and authentic but the service is terrible!
We asked for some water right at the beginning when we sat down but never got our waters! Even when the food was serve and eaten half way, the waters were never served.
There were 3-4 servers at the time and one was on the phone with earphones in!???!! Another server was also on their phone but my water was never serve??! Sooo I’m suppose to pay tips when there was no service ever??!! Them sending out the food is part of the job description and refilling waters, serving water, asking if everything is ok is a part of the service that we never receive.
I think the owner or manager should re-discipline their employees because it is a part of the restaurant image and I think servers with earphones in is quite unprofessional. It’s not like they have earphones in to receive phone call orders or talk to customer. They were just playing on their phone….
